It's basically a 3-day dealie . You can come to one day , 2 , or all 3 days . We'll (the NE-CEG) will have people there all 3 days for sure . They have multiple hoses at the grounds to wash your car . No dirty cars to be seen at Carlisle !
Look in the link in my sig & you'll see albums from the last couple Fords at Carlisle shows (2 albums each , IIRC) . Just gotta look around a bit .

My drive was 6 1/2 hrs, and I detailed the car a week before and didn't drive it till the morning I left. Since it rained on the way down, the car was pretty filthy by then. But I got those armorall car cleaning wipes and wiped all the dirt and brake dust off, and then polished it up with a terry towel. Looked brand new again!

guitarman, glad that you may be making the trip. We always have a great time hanging out, you'll have fun. There are hotels in the area and camping sites at the fairgrounds if you want to spend a few days. Hint: if you plan on camping at the fairgrounds don't wait until the last minute to book a spot, the spots fill up fast.

I live about 30 min north of PGH. Last year my bro and I left our place Fri after school(I teach), and got to our campground at about 10:00 pm, (stopped to eat and stuff). We came back about 3:00 on Sunday. I also parked in a muddy field while camping, and met Allen while using the FREE car wash stations. IIRC, he commented on my dirty wheels. (Yes Allen, I still remember that!) So you don't need to worry about washing the car before the road trip. Hope to see ya there! Scott
