I hope Im in the right section but, I just recieved a 99 Contour LX for my 16th Birthday. I am going to sell one of my computers for around 1000 bucks or so. With this money I was considering new Ford SVT Focus rims (the ones with 16 spokes or so) Anyways I wanna do what I can before winter to make my car look decent untill I get more money. Should I go with rims or look into a body kit adn run stock rims and tires. How does a stock LX look with just rims?

Thanks Chris.

Look around (mainly in pics and vids) you will find some post, i think someone on here has the 16 spoke European wheels, they look nice on the tour. Finding a used SVT body kit is going to take some time, they are getting harder to come by all the time. IMO buy some rims, they will add a nice flair to your car without making your pockets feel empty.

correction!! And please, go with the SVT body kit if anything, as the other kits just look ghetto..... In my opinion ofcourse.

Go with the suspension and wheel option. Save your $$$$ and dont get a body kit. But remember read my sig below!

lower the car first. wheels before lowering will only make the car look worse.

Actually, I agree with this statement the most. I did suspension before wheels/tires, and am glad I did. Lowering the car will make your stock wheels appear a little bit bigger anyway.
