Dude, I was using it as an example. Chill ok. I like the Toyota I'm driving, and I'm not about to bring a expensive car to school and have the hell get beat out of it anyway.

Oh yeah, and BTW, I don't drive a Ford anymore for a damn good reason. I got tired of putting money in the Fix Or Repair Daily Contour I drove. I'd rather spend the cash on a car that wasn't in the shop all the time, even if it is a Corolla. I don't know why some of you guys can't appreciate a car that doesn't have that blue oval on the front.

I have no problems with toyotas, atleast no more than other costly imports.
The point is, leasing isn't best thing to do. Buying a new car isn't always the best thing to do either.
Buying used is good. I have two cars. One cost about $3k almost 4 years ago, other cost $1400 a couple months ago (I over paid slightly on both). Both run very well and haven't needed anything more than routine maintenance. Insurance is about $70 a month for both of them. They both get atleast 32mpg highway. Call me crazy, but I prefer buying used over buying/leasing new.

Not always. I bought my '95 Probe GT used (obviously ) and it turned out to be a POS generally due to the previous owner's lack of maintenance. My '98 Contour SE was bought used in 2001 and seems to have a new problem crop up each month (all of them expensive to repair, of course).

Regardless whether I buy new, used, or lease ... my next car will have a warranty. And (given how long it lasts) I'll probably give up the car just before it expires. I have no plans to mod a vehicle so no worries about that (heck, my Contour is almost stock after 4+ years).

And lucky you for living in Georgia. My Contour is $110/month for basic insurance, not even comprehensive, in Massachusetts. And I have a clean record, not even a parking ticket.
