Elders have learned only to lease cars because they feel parts are not made to last forever and they do not want to get into the fix and replace game or rather they have done it before in the past and have found that game not worth the cost. A lesson some say I have not learned yet So they just lease a new car every 4 to five years.

Elders enjoy paying for things they don't own?

Yep, it's called piece of mind, and the thrill of always having something new. It's a really good feeling not having to worry about if the car will break, and how much it will cost to fix it, and how well you'll have to take car of it to make it last past the pay off date.

Officially starting hijack
-Peace Of Mind = Don't own a POS
-Thrill of owning something new = Misplaced priorities
-Worry about if the car will break = Should actually be concerned about where/when it will break
-Cost to fix = parts + personal time (you do have me there though)
-Making last payoff date = don't finance a POS
