OP kontour_sev6 CEG\'er K Joined: Apr 2004 Posts: 219 Hurricane Alley, NC	I did a search and all I found was the TSB about a new splash shield, belt and pulley which was for 95-98's mine's a 00, but my car today started at work got to Wal-Mart a few miles up the road and after 30 mins. didn't want to start. Beat on the battery term. about five different times while the rain continued to pour down. Then finally cranked up. While cutting on the switch to start it on the times it didn't turn over wipers that weren't on would cut on on there own, battery light, CEL, etc. Is there another wire that maybe getting loose. Battery is about 2-3 months old and all terminals and connections cleaned and lubed with vaseline just a week and a half ago. TIA. Yes, it appears to be a loose connection, dead battery (or alternator causing the dead battery). Battery test. Engine off, turn lights on for one minute. Voltage should be 12 to 12.5. Alternator test. Engine running, voltage should be 14 to 14.5. In addition, check all wires running from battery to alternator and ground for loose or almost broken condition.
