I think the point that they are trying to make is this:

1. You have much less power then an SVT (which is limited to 143)

2. Your car is not as aerodynamic as an SVT (which is limited to 143)

Yes, weight is a big factor as well, but unless your car was 100% gutted in track trim, I don't think that you lost enough weight to make up for those previous two factors.


But I had my zetec auto up to 113 down a hill and it was quite scary. The car wasn't pulling that hard, and I highly doubt it would have made it to 130 had the limiter not been there.
