The exhaust on my stock SVT exhaust was uneven.

Corroded bolts become broken bolts if I'm doing exhausts.

haha hell yeah, death to bolts! That gives me a reason to go to this new Fastenal store that opened up a month ago. haha.
I had those damn pressure inserted bolts hammered out by myself and a local mech. Slege hammers are your friend! So taking the exhaust off won't be hard. And I have to see about making this bracket. lol I know I can easily get universal rubber hangers from advanced. So All I need is a bracket I can put a bolt into. The bolt I can then use for the rubber hanger and BAM! all done. lol
Worse come to worse I could always leave the exhaust off from the Y-pipe back until I can come up with a fix. I'll be sure to fix my digital camera so we can get some pictures posted up on what it looks like when I'm done!

Well it looks like the reason I haven't gotten a response is due to the slight problem that TruBendz is in Fla. Right in the path of hurricane Wilma. I can be patient as that's a pretty good excuse. My apology to truBendz for not thinking this out further As to the flex pipe theory, all of the rubber mounts are hanging straight down. None are twisted or skewed. If your exhaust shows up late now you know why

My trubendz lines up perfectly, I had the exhaust raised a bit so it would be partially into the bumper but otherwise all dimentions are equal.
(Sorry for the small pic, it is the best one I have right now)

My exhaust was similar, my drivers side sits about a inch inwards not to mention it didn't line up and was rubbing. I ended up spending another 100 dollars in work getting it most of the way lined up. My car is not a show car but I wanted it to look right. I emailed back and forth to Trubendz for about a week since not all of the flarings were done on it and the bolts and nuts were not in it. The package did come undamaged to me. Just not the quality I had expected, I should have went with Borla for the extra cash.

Guess what...
Well I got home, open the boxed and sqeaked. Its so pretty. Its on my car in a tad under 4 hours, 3 hours and 40 minutes. lol I know him 3 hours and 40 minutes of car work time.
Bad news though. Had it on, did a pull test on all the clamps to make sure they were on. Then tightened all of them another full turn. On the way back in my driveway, BANG! I though one of the clamps had exploded....
The clamps on the tubing near the rear driver side door had popped right out... It is sitting in the garage cooling right now. I'm really pissed because I need to go to work at 6 in the morning and I have to freakin reattach the muffler clamp.
The sound is sweet. Its a little too loud. It wasn't the volume I expected. I had the res removed before and it made my tour louder, but DAMN the trubendz exhaust is almost enough to make me want to plug on of the pipes. lol
I'll just have to get use to it. Can't wait to start that engine tomorrow at 20 of 6 and scare the piss out of the neighbors. lol

After all the swearing, after all the dirty shirts and bloody scrapes, and soot covered hands, just sit behind the damn car and listen to it idle. I mean, really. You will remember why you put all that dirty work into it in the first place. Just please, for heaven's sake, open the garage door while you do this!

haha no worries. the Pipe is back together. I used the breaker bar to tighten them. I have that clamp to the point my arm was feeling a good amount of resistance. This means tomorrow I really will explode the clamp. lol I"m off to bed. I'll post the pics and vids tomorrow afternoon. Photobucket is a good place to do this right?
