My exhaust will be here middle of next week. I have an Se so I don't have the passenger side hanger. I looked at the how-to, there are not any pictures of this bracket installed on the car. I searched and really didn't find much information that will help. It seems most people took the car to a shop and had a hanger welded on.
I was wondering, does anyone have pictures of how they hung quasi-dual exhaust on a non-svt? or at least a nicer explantion. Thanks

its probably not worth your time to do it yourself, But if your low on cash go ahead. It costs like 40 bucks to have a shop weld one in.

Check your tips closely. The driver side on mine is shorter than the passenger side and it looks like CRAP. I measured them individually and the driver side is definitely shorter. TruBendz hasn't returned my emails yet either. I would especially be interested to know if your tips are exactly the same length (measured from the 90 degree bend to the end of the tip)

Wow, yeah I've looked at that already, but anyway...I wanted pictures of it on the car.
Forty bucks for a hanger welded on is a joke...lol
I'll check the length of the tips. It will half to wait till friday when I get home.
I can't wait to get it on.

SVTCJ,
the reason your tips are held at different lengths is because the mechanic who welded in the hanger didn't realize the flex pipe forces the entire system slightly sideways. Because of this, when the passenger side pipe is hung on the otherwise straight hanger, the rubber ford supplies gives way to the crookedness that the flex pipe has to give in order for it to do it's job.
Same thing happened to me. Just bend the hanger toward the front of the car a bit and it should solve the problem.
I don't have any pics of the hanger I had a shop weld in for me, but it's just an L shaped bar. The How To on the site doesn't cover heavily corroded bolts that cause a problem when you dont have air tools (not saying the How To is mis-informative or bad).

Mine is an SVT. The exhaust used all factory hangers on the car. The hangers on the exhaust could be moved but the finish where it used to be attached would be destroyed.
As much difference as there is in the tips (passenger side sticks out a good 2 inches farther than driver side) I'm not sure I could bend it enough to make them even.
I'm going to try and call them directly today.

Someone correct me if I'm wrong, but a crooked hanging exhaust system is due to the flex pipe, correct? It is the only thing I can think of that would make it do that, short of a crooked bend in the quasi dual pipe itself
