I broke down and had an indy replace my water pump yesterday. $350.00 .
Anyways he said that the rattling that I had heard(sounds like a loose heat shield or exhaust rattle), was coming from the lower motor or the tranny. He thought maybe a loose oil baffle from the oil pan hitting the crank.
Anyone else had any issues like this? Anything specific I should look for?
