theres some stuff called 'nightshades' that i've used in the past, but it sucks, in my opinion.
Testors has some translucent enamel paint for model car windows, someone on the site used that, i'm sure it has a much better finish than the night shades (Being an enamel) and it probably sticks a lot better.
