Alternator finally took a dump after 105K, now I've had a Ford Alt sitting in a box for a while because I knew it was going to fail soon. However the Alt does not have a pulley on it. I am having fun trying to think of how I can get the old pulley off. I can't get enough leverage to hold the Alt steady while I turn the nut.
Is this something that is do-able, or do I need to take it to a machine shop. I don't have air tools.
Thanks for your suggestions in advance.
