I agree with cable being better, but only because DSL isn't available on my street, and they're too cheap to run new lines a whole mile long.
(DSL came to town first in ~2000, but it took us another year till cable came through to get high speed! )
Also faster, from what I hear. We originally started out with 256Kb cable and two years ago upgraded to 3Mb.
Which is which: (cable versus DSL) ... one is slower the further from base you are, and the other is slower the more people are signed up in your neighborhood?
