You should see all the whining going on before the site went down because they're asking members to pay $12 a year for premium membership benefits. (no more free hosting available, therefore money is now needed to keep the forums running)
The forums will still be free with nearly all the usual perks, so the $12 thing is only an option. They just can't seem to drive that point home with some people.

Maybe I should've said - "I guess they're trying to go back to better days ." NECO used to be a pretty good site . Haven't visited (with any regularity) in many moons though .
