well...when I took mine off, I was able to get most of the stuff off with my fingers, the rest took a blow dryer and a towel to get off. It took my a few hours to get the doors clean, but the stuff was more manageable when heated up. I dunno if what yo uhave on the door is the same crap I was dealing with, but, I don't think I would have been able to get it off with any of the methods you described either...
