back in 99 when i worked at chuck e' cheese (as a tech!), we had this game by Konami called racing jam. Has a screen similar to that which wrapped around you, with the car you sit in...but it wasn't completely round like that. It was a 16x9 screen. Had a $5000 projector behind it. Huge. Cool game too.
