I played single player in SOCOMI. Never played it in SOCOMII. I beat SOCOMIII as a Commander in a couple of hours. It's not hard at all if you're any good online. I just ran through the stages and wasn't worried about all the bonus stuff. I only did it so I could have the Guille suit. I'll have to beat it again, as an Admiral I suppose, to unlock a few more characters online, as well as the pistol grip and medium scope.
