ok, What the H*** is a competition strobe. To see has the most aftermarket flashing things on his/her car?? If you want the real deal, find a supplier that deals with fire/police/ems/road safety products. I have a few sets that came off my old truck (used to work for the National Forest Service) if anybody wants them. Just PM me.

Like Timfiredog said, the real stuff is made by companies like whelen, federal signal, etc... My unit is made by whelen.

The best place for hide-a-way strobes is www.sirennet.com. They have the best prices I have found on the net but they are still pricy. I have clear Whelens in the tail lights that have 4 flash patterns and will probably get some for the front turn signal area for show and VFD. The professional kits are a lot more stable and last a lot longer.

my idea of a competition kit of strobes is not just ones where you turn them on and they strobe...
ones where you control the beat pattern, how fast or slow they strobes, the pattern in which they strobe...etc...
