"Ok then TB is now clean (was not that bad but cleaned it just to be safe)."
Good, now clear the memory by pulling Fuses 9 and 11 for a few minutes (for 2000 model, 4 and 11 for 1996 model)
"Was thinking about buying a code reader. I have no cel but a intermittent problem is stored in memmory, yes?"
A cheap one will run you $50 up and will show the code and maybe erase it (Actron 9125 is $70). If you can afford it get on which will have the freeze frame data (Actron 9145 is $200). That way you will be able find out some of the engine conditions when the light was triggered. The memory can be cleared as per above paragraph. Both an intermittent or hard code can be stored in memory until clear by code reader of pulling the fuses. You can also clear the memory by disconnecting the battery terminal but that would also clear the clock and radio pre-set stations.
"i have already paid for two tows." AAA is $90 per year (free 100 mile towing, jump starts, etc.).
"One more thing my wife pointed out to me is that the problem happens 95 persect of the time on the interstate or speeds above 55. but when they star they persist at low speeds. I have notced that after it sits for several hours or over night it seems to run fine."
Chances are something is triggered when the engine is warm or when the fuel gets sloshed in the fuel tank. Could be fuel pump. You might want to test the fuel pressure.
