that's what i was thinking. it seems the spin is what induced the roll. in FWD, he would have probably plowed and hit head-on. i think the head-on is a bit more predictable.

but he was so lucky to begin with, he could have had *more* injuries if the air bag went off: burns, eye iritation, etc.
