I know that Zaino products are very good judging by pics that are posted. With so many products, how do I use them or which one should I use whe?. The zaino website didn't give me the clarity I was looking for. Can someone offer some assistance?

There are alot of zaino pushers around here for some reason, I have never used the stuff before mainly because you have to order it, but yesterday I went to autozone and picked up a clarbar kit (removes old wax, and built of crap on your paint, meguires show car glaze polish, and meguires high crystal wax, do those 3 things in that order and your car will look just as good, or better than anyones.

I feel this is gonna turn into a long thread of how Zaino's is better than everyhting else on earth.

Heres the Simple Responce
Z-1 is a polish lock, basically allows the polish to adhere to the paint.
Z-2 is the polish for clear coat cars
Z-5 is the swirl remover
Z-6 is the spray
Z-7 is the car wash
Applicator pads

These products, a bottle of Dawn, and possibly a clay bar are what you need to get the Zaino Shine

Sal\'s instructions

Spring Clean:

1) Wash with Dawn Dishwashing Detergent.
2) Meguires Claybar/quickdetail (Remove the bonded contaminents).
3) Re-Wash with Dawn
4) 3-M Imperial Hand Glaze (polish out the fine scratches and smooth out the finish).
5) Z-1 (Base for the Zaino Magic!)
6) Z-2 (Seals the finish)
7) Drink a beer
8) Z-6 (spray) later that evening
9) Z-2 (2nd coat) the next day.

Buy 1 bottle of Z-1 (rarely used), 2 bottles of Z-2, 2 bottles of the car wash, and 1 bottle of the spray. This should get you through the season.

Also: the first coat is about as hard to do as the other waxing programs (meguires). The following are about 3 times easier. Trust me, I used to wax my car 1-2 times a week in college. I have friend that detail cars and I do show cars on a limited basis. Zaino is the stuff to use. What seems to be missing from everyones descriptions and all of the arguing is that it is slightly better than anything you'll ever find but it lasts so much longer and it is ssssooooo much easier to maintain!

Also a big difference between is that regular waxes build up over time. Those built up layers are really easy to scratch!! Thus envolving lots of buffing to remove them...

Instead of using Z-1 get ZFX instead that negates the use of Z-1 and it allows up to three coats in less the an hour( If the weather is right). I am suprised you choose 3M. I have been thinking about getting a few bottles. I never apply z-6 until the next day. I have gotten the best results like that.

APT, thanks for the links. I think I have a grasp of this, but I have one more question. When you're applying multiple coats, do go from Z-2 to Z-5 to Z-2 to Z-5 with Z-6 in between or do you do multiple coats of Z-5 over and over then move to Z-2 again over and over until you're satisfied?
