well by replacing the stockers you don't necessarily have to put the cover back on though, or am i wrong?

I think I've seen one or two people who have custom fiberglass enclosures that display their front speakers. 90% of the time they're behind the door panels.

^^^^ What he said. Secondly, they are better protected, anyways. Nothing says "Oh Crap" than a foot through an Infinity Refrence 6" Component speaker.

What cover? the DOOR PANEL?

i've got a pair of thesein both front and rear. i am far more than happy with them combined with my 2 MTX6000 12" subs powered by a Sony Xplod XM-D500X with internal parallel. I love it.
