it took me quite awhile, probably an hour total. IT was really easy drilling the holes for the huge studs to go in. I did the grease method on where to drill into the hood. It was hard for me because i have to cut "slot" shapes instead of the round drill bits i had. i had to keep drilling, lower and look, drill another spot, etc. Once i got throught the thick skeleton it was easy from there cutting through the outer layer of CF. One of the hood pins was angled after it was screwed into the hood that the circlar part wouldnt snap or go over the stud, so i had to take my air compressor/orbital sander, and sand/grind down the stud a little bit so the ring could go over it. But it looks sweet, and i took off my stock latch.
Ive actually been thinking about going with a different color than yellow. I definately want two tone... no question about that, and i want one color to be black, so that leaves another color up for grabs. Im either thinking between yellow, light metallic blue, gunmetal grey inca gold, or this sweet green color i see everyday at school on a passat wagon. Anyways, painting is a while away, so i have plenty of time to decide. I also want a paint color that i can live with on the interior, because i will paint many interior pieces body color... and i dont think id like the light green/yellow or gold for that
