While we are on the topic of headlights, both front lamps are ridiculously foggy. Hence, I took them apart in order to get inside them and clean them out. However, when I got the whole lamp out, it looked like it had been sealed already so I couldn't pull the cover off(creamy light brown adhesive on the edges/crease). Is this due to someone else owning the car (which I highly doubt) or something that the manufacturer did? Anyone else run into this problem? Is the only way to get around this is to purchase new ones because that would be an expensive adventure.

What about this first:
"I woud first try a plastic cleaner/polish like Plexus, Novus, Zaino's or the Meguiar's PlastiX product."

Got this off another post...some say leave wetsanding as a last option because it will create some scratching...
