Nice ride , SAV  . It looks right like my little brother's VW , also a white '97 Jett . He's got it lowered , with a EuroSport exhaust , short shifter , aftermarket rims and a kick-arse stereo setup  . A great little ride . Not as cool as MY Jetta(s) ... but still a good ride  . I'm sure yours will be equally a tastey when you're done with it .
BTW - My wife's Jett rolls on your style stock rims (orlandos) . Makes a nice (stock VW) upgrade to a mk2 .
