with an ipod, or any mp3 player, you can store all your cds so you dont have to carry them around in the car anymore...and risk having them possibly stolen.

It's surged in the last couple years. I remember riding the El from O'Hare to downtown in April of 2004 and everyone had a damn iPod. It seemed all the students down there had them also. Here they're big, but not as big as much as the larger cities. I guess there are more people in the larger cities that you don't want to talk to.

i really dont seem them around here much. but then again, i dont hang out at the mall or ride the bus. ive seen a few teenagers with them. they sell like crazy though. last Christmas i sold 12 4g minis for $300 each! one guy bought two. i guess the video ones will be the big ones to have this Christmas, unless they pull out some suprise last minute model.

i have thought about using one myself but as expressed above, i dont want to get one and then see a newer/better model come out a month later not to mention that it seems like the initial ipods of each new line seem to have some sort of issues with them. ive already heard a few complaints about the nanos.

I have one on my cell phone and never use it. Am waiting for a format and connections with better sound quality (Optical?).
