actually thats a really bad idea. cold air can bet back in the pipe and mess up your valves, very expensive to fix, just ask myfreind luke. oh wait, you dont know who he is... hmm...

i have herd of people bedning exhaust valves from running open headers on like hondas and [censored]. but im not sure that came from cold air. it might be the lack of back pressure. but to be honest i am really not to sure what would happen if you ran pipes right off the bottem of the headers. any one have any idea. i wanna know how alot of V8 drag racing applacations can get away with running open headers and not hurt any thing.

btw i hope the UPS man come with my y pipe today and does not dissapoint me like yestorday. he came to the door i got up ran down stairs like my room was on fire. threw the door open and he handed me my box of coffe.
also i have a 98 mercury mystique and they dont have o2 sensors behind the cat so should i worry about running a test pipe. i dont wanna pop a check engin light

When I was under my car looking at my y-pipe there is a pin type thing helping to hold the y-pipe to the cat. How in the world does this come out/move to get the bolt out?
