Listen up, kid. We've discussed this before, there's info in the FAQs, and you were politely told that the info was there. You responded in a very immature manner with a little angry face.

So how are we supposed to take that? We try to help and you're angry. So we make a little joke out of it. We point out that what you're saying doesn't really make any sense. But hey, you were tired, so it's not your fault.

But wait, you have something else to say!

So you call us "Dix". Well, we were having a good time, but then you threw some extra 'x's in there and blew us away. Wow, an 'x' can replace a '(c)ks'! Mind-boggling!

Obviously, you're an idiot. We all realize it by this point. The thread has gone to hell and it's all your fault. You are wasting our time, and being very rude.

So again, a few jokes at your expense.

And you tell us to grow up. Because we're the ones acting so immature. And you call us 'u', as if we are so insignificant we'd be a waste of the extra two keystrokes. Cold, man. You've got to be the baddest mother on the internet. Angry faces, cool misspellings, childish taunts; it's brutal. I'm cut to the core.

Wait, I'm over it! Maybe you should learn how to search. Maybe you should develop a sense of humor. And maybe you should learn how to spell. And then MAYBE we'll help you out, if you think about your questions for one damn minute before posting them up. Until then, we don't want to grow up. So . That's right, I went there. And I'm gonna tell daddy on you!

one thing ive noticed being on here is that some of you older people are quick to light up someone or you pull out the search nazi card. i think some of you have too much time on your hands.

here's an idea, when someone has a question why dont you try to answer it instead of saying try searching for your answer. an answer would come easier from one or two posts than weeding through 50 posts of crap that isnt relavant.

do you guys get off on telling someone to search on a topic as opposed to helping someone out???

Matt:

You've been on here for almost 5 weeks...

So.. because of that fact (and that fact alone) I will let you have that stance.. go for it.

My only suggestion, and perhaps a test:

Wait 4 years of typing the SAME..... EXACT..... WORDS... IN.... THE... SAME.... EXACT.... ORDER.... OVER.... AND... OVER.... AND.... OVER.... AGAIN....

and then come back and tell me that you don't ever tell someone to search.

Look through my posts.. see how often I do it. I take the time to answer "noob" questions, and even questions that are STICKIED ONE post above the posters question.. HOWEVER: sometimes I haven't the time... or the will.. to re-invent the wheel... AGAIN..

So... If you want to see where YOU will be in 4 years (hopefully still here, btw)

get this:

SEARCH and you will see what happens in 4 years time..

Seriously, though: Look at any person on here that you would consider a "search nazi" other than Todras (lol) and see what they were like the first 5 weeks of their membership.

Anyway, talk to me about searching again in about 4 years, or so.

EDIT: You know what.. this is a catch-22.. if you type the answers over and over again... it sucks.. if you choose NOT to.. someone says exactly what YOU said.. and I end up typing THIS type of response to YOU (thinking you are, perhaps, the FIRST PERSON to ever think of this idea..) So.. either way.. I have to retype everything.. its just a matter of what I feel like retyping.
/EDIT

Well I'll tell you that sometimes I help people if I know I can give them correct information. Sometimes I suggest a search and other times I send a pm. It depends on how busy I am. I rarely ask questions here because I search and find it myself or send a pm to one of the many credible members on this awesome site and ALWAYS get help. I guess what I'm saying is that if you want information go get it, don't ask someone else for it. The situation with this other new member could have gone better, however he was actually politely asked/told to search. He posted something negative and it was all downhill from there. I read posts all the time from new members some get help, some don't. It starts with them, they set the tone and the responses follow. If you or anyone else doesn't want to "weed through fifty posts of crap" as you say well fine. How do you think everyone else finds information? They go get it. Do you really think everyone here knows all the answers? As I said before I help people all the time, sometimes advising them to search is helping. However what I never do is call people names and post pictures of nazis.
