They were brought up not too long ago. Instead of paying in the ballpark of $1000 for a header that probably doesnt fit our cars, why not mod a set of WR's. Cut off the collecter, extend the pipes around the oil pan on the front bank and make a new collector. On the rear bank extend them down further then run them back to another collector. Ideally this would need to be on a true dual setup because of space.

Would there be any real gains as opposed to running T duals with the MSDS or WR headers?!?!

Upper RPM's when the engine is really working. I've been fooling around w/ dyno sim software. Gains from 4.5K and above. There was a peak gain of 12hp at 6.8K and above and an average of 6+hp from 5.5K and above. The torque curve is also held a few hundred RPM longer and higher as well.

Try it in a real world setting mounted on a tranverse engine once.

The problem is that both bank are not going to have "matching" sets of headers. Long haphazardly bent tubes are highly over-rated considering that equal flow and velocity are what matter when making headers of any length.

The best setup you could make is an equal, mid length primary, 1.675" tubed header that used a custom Y-pipe or dual exhaust. There is room on both sides to move the collector down and to the center.

That is the setup that would give the best overall output.
