Soon his oldest kid will have kids, then his kid will be able to play with his uncle that just happens to be the same age!

They look very religious (and not nascar types). The girls have long hair/long skirts which some strict religious groups follow.
BTW, they can care for the kids perfectly, than they should have as many kids as they want. It's the people living on welfare, etc. that should stop having kids.

In fact if youc atch the special out about them now, they are very religious and love each child very much. They run a tight household and efficient. They make most their own clothes to save money.
Rag on them all you want but they run a loving caring home were they learn values and enojy each other.
My mom is one of 14 and their house was nothing like this one seeing as they were all like my grand father. Catholic BTW!

The problem with America is stupidity.
I'm not saying there should be a capital punishment
for stupidity, but why don't we just take the safety
labels off of everything and let the problem solve itself?

I can think of 5 friends off the top of my head who suffered through all kinds of abuse and had nightmarish childhoods, yet their families appeared perfect on the surface--nice suburban homes, the parents had good reputations and were prominent in the community (guidance counselors, teachers, college professors, psychologists), the kids did well in school, etc. The common thread in all these families was that the parents were overworked/stressed, and perfectionists who were obsessed with their public image. When they thought their kids were "tarnishing" their reputations (or just wanted to releive their anger on someone), they because highly abusive.
I'm certainly not saying that's necessarily the case with this family, just that appearances can be very deceiving. You never know what goes on behind closed doors..

Obviously you missed the lighthearted-ness of my original post. I'm not sure what being religious has to do with anything; it's something people keep bringing up for some reason. I guess the point that they are Bible-thumpers and therefore have a lot of children is important to some people.
I did not seriously mean that they should stop. Like Kremit said, if they can financially and emotionally support all of these children, it is within their right to have as many as they'd like. I guess even if they couldn't support all those children, they'd still be within their right to have as many children as they want (something we've learned elsewhere).
I'm surprised the CEG Resident anti-Christs haven't claimed that these people are forcing their religious views on everyone by having so many kids.

I don't know, I don't think it's right that they should get all the tax breaks for what ends up being 14 of their decisions (I advocate the repeal of all child tax deductions and credits), but they have the right to have as many children as they can support and raise.
