He's doing really well- his speech is almost back to normal. Just a hint of what sounds like fatigue instead of either drunken slurring or complete exhaustion.
It looks like it was brought on by high blood pressure. His diet was miserable, and he was working FAR too many hours (works as ramp services at American Airlines at Logan) for his own good. We're talking routinely 65-70 hour weeks, some 8 hour shifts with a one- or two- hours break in between where he'd just sleep in his truck in the garage.
He's working on his diet, staying on his meds, and I'm making sure he sticks with it all.
