He's doing ok. He and I were out at a movie when it hit him, and he thought it was an allergic reaction to what he was eating. He went to work Saturday, Sunday, and Monday. Was still feeling wrong on Tuesday, so he went to the doc's. They saw him for about 5 minutes and diagnosed it as a minor stroke. His speech was affected, he sounds like he's had a few drinks or was at the dentist. He lost no motor skills, lost no short- or long- term memory. I'm still quite freaked out about the whole thing, since he was out WITH me when it happened. I'm heading up to see him later this afternoon to see him again. A couple things I hope everyone takes away from this- if you love someone, make sure they know it. Life's too short, don't let it pass you by. You never know when something is going to come up and hit you right between the eyes.

Yikes... best of luck to him in his recovery. It is good it was caught pretty early, so there was no damage.

Thanks, everyone.
The strangest thing was that he didn't know what was going on, and I didn't even notice. He just sounded tired to me, and since it was midnight, what else was there to think?
I'm still fairly shook up from it all. Thinking I could have lost him Friday night, ya know?
Thanks for all the kind words.
I'll be sure to keep everyone updated.
