I have a 1999 Contour 4cyl that uses both gas and Nat gas. a few weeks ago it stalled at a stop. Since then I get a hesitation just off idle, it is much worse in the nat. gas side than the regular gas operation. I have si-connected the exhaust thinking it was a clogged catlyc. It did not help, I cleaned MAS it also did not make a difference. I would like to check the EGR and PVC but can't locate them? .... Also is there a easy way to check the fuel injectors? Also I checked it with a code reader as I get a check engine light on in the Nat. gas mode but the light does not come on in the regular mode. The error code does not register and will not clear...
Welcome. . You cleaned the MAF? (if it is MAS, please explain the acronym). Standing in front, you should be able to see a round looking part; the EGR, in the middle of the firewall side, between the intake plenum (accordian tube) and the windshield.
Edit. This link should help.
