I found the way to clean the windows, and dry the car under bright sun. Get yourself some good thick terry cloth towel, and some thick polishing cloth. Get the towel wet when you do the final wipe down of the car, and use the polishing clotch to clean the windows afterwards. It works like a charm. Matter or fact, this is what we use at work to dry customer's car after carwash.

WOW! I thought I was the most anal CEG'r here, but i guess not. I hate the inside of the door jams the most.

Or what about when you put on tire shiner and drive away too soon and half of it ends up on the body.

You are using some bad stuff on those tires. I don't know how you like your tires to look, but 303 Protectant is great stuff, but zero gloss. It seems to last over a month of daily driving. However, I like a little gloss to my tires so use Black Magic Trim & Tire gel with an Eagle One Tire Swipe applicator. No mess on the paint. For the trim itself, I prefer the 303, though. Lasts way longer and less glossy.

the thing that i hate the worst is that my hood is pretty f'ed up from the previous owner neglect, and there are many dings and clearcoat cracks (i know it sounds pretty bad and believe me if you saw it you would die), my car is black and looks awesome when it is cleaned and waxed but i have to look at the neglect from before to get the shine that i want. new paint job coming as soon as i get the money. hopefully takes care of the problem. but the wheels and the interior dust are the worst for me, just when you think that you have kicked all the dust out more comes trudging back in. Pisses me off!!! mad mad mad mad mad

I hate cleaning sideskirts! When the bugs and tar get imbedded and become part of the car! You have to stay hunched over too.

Muffler Tips- Gotta be that- not because it is a pita but because I forget...then windows, then sideskirts...if you keep up with it doorjambs are a breeze...I could see how they might be bad up north in the winter though. As far as carpets- Bought a little green machine and armour all multipurpose cleaner (in the blue bottle) works wonders on carpet and the plastic panels in the car. Borrowed some oxi clean once, glad I didn't buy it. Don't get me wrong, It is a halfway decent cleaner, not a good stain remover though.
