bah... I have 3 of the Audiobahn 2300HCT's which are huge mothers.. nothing like adding the weight equaliviant of 6-8 people in the back of your car when all is said and done

running any audio component at 100% all the time is gonna damage it. just like using a trucks full towing capacity for 450 miles is a no-no. the thing is, a lot of "youngsters" buy the low to middle end models and run them at full capacity cause they're stuff doesn't bump loud enough for them. and yea, they go kaboom like any other subs would

underpowering the Audiobahn subs is bad as well.. are you sure that you didnt have a new rep who was confused and had it all backwards? Those subs need a specific power flyin at them or you might as well just buy something else that you can power or afford.

i've found they work best when they have about 30' of marine grade rope attached to them, while tied to the bow cleat of a boat.

I wish someone would've said this about 6 months ago when I put a Punch 500a2 on a 15" Adire Tempest... I still have that sub in the box, in my basement. I just look at it, and think about the good times we had
