Best way to get rid of it is get some hair shampoo, and wash the windows with it. THEN, dry them with newspaper. You won't even need to use any type of glass cleaner.

Roger, DO NOT CLEAN/DRY windows in the sun. Don't even do the above in the sun. Streaks dry much quicker in the sun (duh). Do it in the shade, then make sure you don't leave any streaks by getting a REALLY dry towel/newspaper and wiping everything off.

Just telling what works from experience....

John

Well I didn't mean "direct sunlight" :p LOL

Wanna get your floormats looking brand new? Get a box of Oxy-Clean. You'll probably find it near the laundry detergent in your house, otherwise you can pick it up at any supermarket/cvs/eckerd whatever. Pour a scoop of it in a spray bottle and add water. Take your floormats out of the car, vacuum them, then spray your Oxy mix on the mats and spray them with a hose real good. Spray some more oxy goo on the mat and work it around with a scrub brush. Repeat the Hose Spraying and drive out the excess water with the scrub brush. Hang em to dry overnight, and enjoy your brand new floor mats. I tried this on my moms 95 Mercury Villager and it worked great. I would have done it to the tour, but I didn't get any when I bought it (Quality is Job 1 my @$$). P.S. if you have any embroidery on the mat ("Contour" or "Mystique"--tread lightly with the scrub brush, you can f it up)

And lets not forget the "runny nose" the contour gets (98+). Ill wash the car, dry it, go around waxing and by the time I get back to the front there's water running out from under the oval onto the bumper. GAH! I think im actually going to start removing the oval when I wash the car!

What I hate most is that I have to wait until the next week to wash it so I don't look like a nut washing my car everyday. :p Really though, windows are bad, but finding new scratches is worse! mad As far as carpet goes, leave the floormats out when driving it daily, and put them in for shows/meets, etc. I bought some clear, thick SUV floor mats from Wals Mart for about $7 each(for the front). Not real flashy, but when it is wet and nasty the ridges and grooves keep all the water and dirt from the carpet. My carpet and Sport floor mats look mint. wink

I used to hate windows, but not so bad any more.

Cleaner with Microfiber towels

Now I have to say I don't clean the door jams very often.

I use Armorall Cleaning Wipes to do my wheels and my doorjambs...I used to hate both of these things but not any more with the wipes. Quick and easy now.

Squeeze out most of the cleaner before you use it tho.

I hate cleaning off the wax that I missed in the littles crevices around the lights, door, hood, & trunk lips...like two days later!
