What I hate most is that I have to wait until the next week to wash it so I don't look like a nut washing my car everyday. :p Really though, windows are bad, but finding new scratches is worse!
As far as carpet goes, leave the floormats out when driving it daily, and put them in for shows/meets, etc. I bought some clear, thick SUV floor mats from Wals Mart for about $7 each(for the front). Not real flashy, but when it is wet and nasty the ridges and grooves keep all the water and dirt from the carpet. My carpet and Sport floor mats look mint.
