Wax on rubber and plastic....Rain or bird crap right after you wash the car (paid to get the car washed this week..not only did it rain the next day, but about 15 birds had a party over my car! and after I got it all off, they got me again this morning..and AGAIN this afternoon!!!! ) But the biggest pain in the butt is the windshield and rear window. I can get them good and clean, but I'm hurting pretty bad the next day. Plus, I always find little armor all smudges around the edge of the windshield. If only it was an easier spot to get into...

I hate cleaning windows also I think the only way to get them clean is to do them in sunlight, that way you can see all the streaks you leave. I always get mad when I "think" I did a good job on them and go out for a ride and then BAM!, you notice that haze or streaks. I've tried the newspaper trick, vineger & water, streak free glass cleaner, etc and nothing works. I do have this towel thats some kind of a weave that works with just water thats pretty good though.

For cleaning windows, I recommend 'degreasing' them. That's mostly what causes the streaks. Be it inside or out.
Best way to get rid of it is get some hair shampoo, and wash the windows with it. THEN, dry them with newspaper. You won't even need to use any type of glass cleaner.
Roger, DO NOT CLEAN/DRY windows in the sun. Don't even do the above in the sun. Streaks dry much quicker in the sun (duh). Do it in the shade, then make sure you don't leave any streaks by getting a REALLY dry towel/newspaper and wiping everything off.
Just telling what works from experience....
