I hate cleaning windows also
I think the only way to get them clean is to do them in sunlight, that way you can see all the streaks you leave. I always get mad when I "think" I did a good job on them and go out for a ride and then BAM!, you notice that haze or streaks. I've tried the newspaper trick, vineger & water, streak free glass cleaner, etc and nothing works. I do have this towel thats some kind of a weave that works with just water thats pretty good though.
