The MSDS will really liven up the sound a lot but i dont see a huge problem because the Borla is already Mellow. if quiet is what you want you could always look at the BOSAL with silencer tips, look at the Bosal website for more info on the tips.

I was one of the unlucky ones that never got to install a Borla system due to the extremely severe fitment issues [rarely happens, I assume]...looks like they packed and shipped two or three incomplete systems. I sent the whole mess right back to them. The pieces looked like pretty good quality, just thinly made and too many joints and clamps.

I'm glad I ended my search with Bosal. Better looking, no clamps, fewer pieces, not thinly made.

Like people have already said: Borla is NO larger than the stock SVT exhaust (except for the rear section - but that makes no difference as the main pipe is still too small), and it's stupid expensive for what it is.

The Trubenz is a better buy. I would reccommend a resonated Trubenz system with a Magnaflow muffer/s AND different tips to the regular slash cut "redneck-style" tips they come with.

What'll you get is a quality exhaust system that sounds great and flows great too.

Redneck-style??? How are angled tips, redneck? I think they look better with the angle, as it goes along with the body lines of the rear valance.
