Only the 3/8" pitch chains have big fat links like those. Is the chain seating ok on the crank sprocket?

fordrule CEG\'er F Joined: Jul 2004 Posts: 124 korea, soon Savannah GA	thanks for the info. i have to redo it anyway....i made a really bad noob mistake....got way to ahead of myself......see in the pic i am missing the motor mount/powersteering pum bracket.....so off it comes and have to bear the cold and hurry up and pull this motor so i cna continue the 2.5 parts i need to swap over.......arrrrggggg......... 2000 mercury cougar V6 5spd 3.0L SVT mated to my HMS tranny...... a wolf in sheeps clothing
