Are you sure you don't have the wrong cams?
You should pull off one timing chain and then test fit your other chains to be sure. Pull the part numbers off the cams just to be sure as well.
You know what Tom? Look at the pics of the chains on the sprockets. It looks like the links between the pins are resting on the tops of the teeth - thus stopping the pins from seating deeper into the sprockets. I wonder if the cams are indeed wrong??
Yeah. That's what I thought when I saw it too.
The chains look like old style chains to me but I'm thinking the cams may be for the smaller pitch chains. If that's correct then it means he/someone may have mixed them up?
