Morally superior? If I were worried about this thread I would have contact the moderator of this forum and had it locked. Obviously my comment was made in jest so you need to chill out. -Mark

You sure he wasn't runnings 12s in the 1/8 mile? Obviously he wasn't racing a supercharged Cobra. It could be pretty easy to mistake it with an older N/A Cobra, but those would still whip any Probe I have seen.
Honestly, what engine is in there?

2.2L SOHC Turbo I-4 w/145hp; 190lb/ft
3.0L OHV NA V6 w/140-145hp; 160-165lb/ft
All available with 5 speed mtx or 4 speed atx.
A co-worker I had at Radioshack had one of these with the auto. They had a "hold" sorta autostick thing going on where you pushed the hold button and it would stay in 1st/2nd/3rd/4th till you upshifted/downshifted.
In any respect, he is a typical ricer. Switch the order of the cars, and that was probly what happend.
04 Cobra:
4.6L DOHC S/C V8 w/390hp; 390lb/ft; 6 speed manual
All other 94-02 Cobras:
5.0L OHV NA V8 w/240hp; 285lb/ft; 5 speed
4.6L DOHC NA V8 w/305-335hp; 300-317lb/ft; 5 speed

Since WHEN do NA SOHC 2-valver 4.6Ls from 94-04 make 305-335 Horsepower? I could have sworn it was more like 240-260. You must have been thinking Camaro there for a second.
