A kid at my work says he has a series 1 probe with about 12g's in mods that should do the quarter in mid 13's, and he had it out for the first time last night and pulled up next to an 04 cobra and "WALKED" it!! Anyone have specs for an 04 cobra 1/4 mile times and 0-60? And any other input so I can laugha t this kid some more.

The 390 hp Cobra? A good driver should pull low 13s or a 12.9 bone stock. Tires and good driving are "easy" high 12's at 110+.

04 Cobras due the 1/4 in anywhere from ~12.8-13.4 depending on driver. I've personally seen quite a few bone stock 03/04's do 12's. Now, did YOU see the Probe walk the Cobra, or was this something he told you? Sounds bogus to me.

the likelyhood of a probe even getting into the twelves on street tires is exceptionally slim. the odds of one "Walking" (lmao!) are astronomical.

I missed the part where this didn't happen on a track. Go laugh at the kid for risking his license, and hit him for endangering other people.

If its that bad of a street racing story lock it, quit trying to be morally superior and act like you have never street raced or was guilty of speeding in your life.
And I have seen more accidents due to everyday people being just stupid on the roads than I have seen accidents due to racing. So maybe we should not allow anyone thats stupid to drive and not just people who raced on the street.
Oh and btw I beat a Corvette the other day on the highway.
