I just unplugged it and let it dangle. Seeing as it will never be used again (switched off in PCM) I don't care what happens to the plug.
Regardless of what you do - you need to have the IMRC switched off, otherwise it'll throw a CEL and your performance WILL suffer. Switch it off and have it dyno tuned to removed the bump and hence smooth out the fuel and tming to get a good hp/tq curve through the original secondary transition zone.
