Well just based on treadlife rating the Traction TA at 440 is a superior tire. BUT, if you want a more performance oriented tire that is very sticky than the KDW is a better choice.
The KDW was the factory tire for the C-SVT in 98.5 - 2000. You should get a good 20-25,000 miles from a set of KDW's
You should consult someone at the TireRack as they sell both.
