Wow! Alot of good information to absorb there. I haven't yet tried to remove the O2 sensor. Most likely I'll do that this weekend. I don't have a pressure gauge so, the O2 option sounds best I did discover a newer problem which seems to be worse than crappy gas mileage. I went to get my oil changed at the local "Penzoil Fast Lube"...or whatever its called...and the guy tells me that my Transmission filter is still oem and should be replaced. Now, I may be wrong..but I thought I had read on these forums a few days ago about the contour having a "screen" instead of a filter?? Anyway, I told him I'd hold off on that for now as they wanted 70 bux to do that. Well, as ironically as it seems, while on my way to work, I noticed some slipping and jerking in the tranny. This only occured between 1st and 2nd and 2nd to 3rd gears, but never 4th. I have no Tachometer in the car, but I can hear it as it nears the point to shift...and the rpms rev a bit and then it shifts. Sometimes the sound is a 'clunk' but only if the car was about to shift and I let off the Accelerator. Now, if I baby the throttle, it doesnt slip as bad, but if I drive normally what I described above happens. So, if you guys have any ideas, please post em. I'd like to get her running properly, and things just keep happening all at once
