Good luck with the trans-axle. GM can't gear a FWD car for the life of them. After losing a Century's trans-axle, I will never touch a GM front-drive with a 4-speed auto. I've never felt a car so powerful in 1st and than so sluggish in 3rd. The 3.1 was the only part I liked about the car. Sadly, that was how the old '88 Gutless was. Great motor (3800) but the entire car fell apart around it. Be ready to be fixing brakes sensors. At least the white interior looks nice.
