Night riding is something wicked. Its something you have to experience to understand. On a good trail at night its exhilerating. My riding friend and i misjudged when the sun would fall and spent the last 5 miles of our ride in the dark w/out a light, it was kinda fun. Around the last 3 miles we caught up to a guy with a helmet light and piggy backed him the rest of the way.

Sweat less at night too

I agree with Pudmunkie. Night trail riding is awesome. It's quite dangerous, but that may be why it's so much fun.

i'll ask my brother if he knows anything about that brand/model light.

as for riding at night... that pretty much means after five or so during late fall and winter. so it's a necessity for hard core riders.

Bah I just ride with my shirt off. My skin lights the way. It's fun when it's 50F. Now that's hardcore.

Todd, I am so disappointed that you didn't bring up the Des Moines meet pictures.
