It ain't going far anytime soon 
I sure i'm not the only one who is tired of this USA vs Canada, everyone has good and bad sides, nobody is perfect and we both have are strength and our weeknesses sp??
Let's put an end to this pissing contest

I think its pointless to debate wether my country is better than yours, its a biased argument on both sides and nothing would ever be solved. I will also say again that if the US/Canadian border were closed both countries would suffer as each other are the opposites number one trading partner. And as for the germans or english ruling us if it wasnt for america? I find that funny because Canada became its own country on its own, we didnt need any other countries help.
One of the more sensible voices in this topic. I did enjoy Canada, and wouldn't hesistate to move up there if not for the cold temperatures. (New England's below-0 Fahrenheit cold spells are bad enough!)
I feel that Mad_Medeiros has never set foot in the States. If that is true, then his comments are null and void. Most of them are nullified by stupidity anyway.
I won't touch other points except for geography:
FWIW ... I live in the middle of *several* farms (most of which have their own vegetable or dairy stands, including delicious ice cream and milk in glass bottles ... and all that green tubing running from maple tree to maple tree along my road each spring). You can see the stars clear as day from my house, even though there is a small city (population 175000) not ten miles north. And New York certainly doesn't shut down for two inches of snow ... but Maryland does.
I hope you read the part that I'm just about half american on my dads side.. and I'm defintly not proud of it, espiecally looking at you guys redicule canada to no extent, and other countries at that... theres American's FIRST problem, thinking they are so much better then everyone else
oh well.. in all aspects I really don't care and I get a good kick out of it watching you guys try to make fun of everything and everyone when your own country gets dissed.
and from posting this thread in other forums, us "canucks" sure are getting quite the kick out of it! no wonder why europeans never join in, they just laugh at your idiotic humour!

Did I mentioned that I lived about 5 years of my life in Vermilion OH? don't remeber much of it.. so I can't really say anything.. but please don't tell me I never stepped foot in america, I go there practicly EVERY year to visit family and buy lots of your cheap vodka

Yes have you read about 90% of the comments made how us canadians basicly suck
just because we may both be white, thats STILL being racist? you think I can go up to britian tell them they suck balls along with there country and get away with it not being racist because there white? don't think so.
