Yeah it was risky but it worked pretty well. I tried it also when I removed the door guards but I couldn't get it flat enough against the door. SO I just used an old AAA card. It worked but hurt like a mother. The car looks great now. I took off the badges and logo's also, but decided to put the front one back on. The front was just missing something, but it looks a lot better with a custom mesh grille.
